This is a quick list of USFS trailheads & campgrounds:
There aren’t any developed horse campgrounds within park boundaries. They skirt the park on USFS land.
The trailheads/campgrounds within close driving distance to trailheads for the classic GTNP rides (Cascade Canyon, Paintbrush Canyon, String Lake, Leigh Lake, Two Ocean Lake Loop, Hermitage Point, etc) are on the eastern side of Jackson Lake.
The ones on the west are beautiful, but do not access the classic GTNP rides. Included here for reference because people tend to refer to them as GTNP.
Probably missing a few. Hey it’s a start.
